Talk Urbex Application on iPhone & Android

Author sophos9 - Last updated: 15.05.2012

Its been some time coming however today is the day…

With smartphone usage at an all time high, we have been working on something special for all Talk Urbex members (and non-members). After significants amount of time, today, we are proud to announce we have gone mobile with native iPhone and Android platform applications.

The new smartphone apps are native meaning the best experience and will allow you to interact on the forum on your mobile device. Please see below for some of the things you are able to do on your iPhone/Android device

  • View forum posts
  • Make/reply to posts
  • Upload photos
  • View photos in posts
  • Send/Receive Private Messages
  • See who is online
  • Add ‘likes’ for posts
  • Keep track of threads you have posted in
  • and more…

Smartphones have pretty decent camera’s so we will also be launching a new ‘hidden’ forum (sorry non-members, you can join up, its free) for iPhoneographers and Androidographers to post your images whilst live in a location or after the event. We all have lots of funny shots (lol @ Govia and Rusty) taken on mobile devices so its a good opportunity to share them.

Best of all, the apps are being made available for free to everyone. We have worked at significant time and cost to give something back to the community so hope you love them as much as we do.

You can download the iPhone app from the Apple App Store, Android from the Market. Please post any questions/issues you may have in the support forum.

Have fun, stay exploring

From the team @ Talk Urbex
