June 2013, visited with Larzz and Sam

Despite the fact it’s almost midnight, there’s still a lot of people outside so we try to remain as inconspicuous as possible. A few minutes later we are out of sight and start our descent.

The oldest tunnel section of this particular subway network is almost 40 year old and has been abandoned for some time. The city is now starting to pick up where they left it and construction is back on track (no pun intended, okay maybe a little

:)

Tunnel Tilt

We walked for hours, covering several clicks eventually reaching a dead end with on the other side of the wall an active station. When we eventually decided to call it quits and returned back to the surface, the sun was already peeping over the horizon. One of the most amazing explores to date.

We scouted this well known location several times checking all options of entry. Special thanks to RobinDK for the intel!
