Rooftop, Copenhagen.

Long time no see!
I just wanted to share a couple of pictures with you guys.

Had a boring night so I grabbed my backpack and camera and went exploring. And I found this rooftop

It’s a 6 story rooftop in the center of Copenhagen, it gives a pretty good overview of the city.

The Central Station in the front, around 90,000 people is departing or arriving in this station every day. Tivoli can be seen in the background, with "Himmelskibet" in motion.

In the middle of the road "Frihedsstøtten" can be seen, it’s a 20 meter tall obelisk raised to remember the repealing of "Stavnsbåndet" which forced people to live in the part of the country they where born in.

The big neon advert is saying "Det danske vejr er Gajol-vejr" which means "The danish weather is Gajol-weather" (Gajol is a "cough sweet"). They should really get it fixed though, it’s pretty good looking.

Two alternative selfies:

Hamilton from 21 stories. The Stelco tower once headquarters to the infamous Canadian Steel maker is still occupied, in some of the lower floors, but upper floors that command a fantastic view of the city are long closed and abandoned.
