Craning and Rooftopping DK

Author B5160-R - Last updated: 07.12.2013

Oh man, It’s been a while since I checked in here – time sure flies.

Anyway, I wanted to "re-join" this great forum and share a couple of my recent rooftop and crane outings.
The coloured ones are from a big awesome crane on top of building still under construction. It’s by far the highest I’ve gone to this day, and also the most amazing craning experience thus far.

You can see the crane in the black and white photo out in the distance left from the centre. That one is from another night out with my brother. I wanted to take him up on the crane, but when he saw it he chickened out so we climbed another rooftop to explore.

Thanks for looking!

I was actually surprised how easy it was to gain access to the roof of the Marriot Hotel, and that we weren’t questioned on our way through the lobby, we weren’t exactly dressed to kill. But we made it in and out.Downtown Louisville, KY.Pentax 645 – SM…
