St. Curvy

I was lucky enough to have time to do a bit of exploring during our last to see my family in Detroit. Woodward Avenue Presbyterian (St. Curvy to Detroiters) has been on my list for a very long time, and it did not disappoint!

I could have spent all day in this place. It’s gorgeous and while the Michigan weather has not been kind to it, scrappers and taggers have more or less left it alone. There were only a few bits marring the walls.

This place, just wow! Former home of millers, preserved beautifully – like the owners just left.

December is always a fun month for me, a week or so off work and of course the annual VCXPEX, or Very Cincinnati Christmas exploration event. But this year, being VCXPEX V, and like the Star Trek film of the same number exploring wise was a miss.
