SJ Missionary Society

Hey guys & girls

Decided to spend a Saturday in early January heading in an easterly direction….. The very original plans didn't work out in time but we had this SJ's & the Masonics as back up & decided to give them both a go anyway. Think me & Teresa started off about 6AM from here which gave us an arrival time of approx sunrise. Parked & made our way thought a park & into the grounds etc with no issues except a few early morning dog walkers. After me going head first through an upper window with all the grace of an ungraceful thing I was inside. Teresa handed my gear through & I had a look around hoping for a fire exit or the like that I would be able to open for her. Well, I walked through & the other side there were two wooden doors which I just pushed open…….

I found the majority of this place to be plain stripped rooms but there were some nice areas to be seen

This place, just wow! Former home of millers, preserved beautifully – like the owners just left.

December is always a fun month for me, a week or so off work and of course the annual VCXPEX, or Very Cincinnati Christmas exploration event. But this year, being VCXPEX V, and like the Star Trek film of the same number exploring wise was a miss.
