Sheldon Church Ruins

Not a terribly urban exploration, but when you live where I do, you take advantage of what is provided, and this really is a worthwhile site.
Unfortunately, while taking one of the last images of the morning, I stepped into a hole and exploded my left foot. On the good side: I pulled the camera and tripod on top of me and saved it from any damage!

The Old Sheldon Church
Formerly known as the Prince William Parish Church

Built between 1745-55
Burned by the British army 1779
Rebuilt in 1826
Burned by the Union army in 1865

Located in a small village in eastern France, is the Maison aux Masques, a.k.a. Villa Amande. Very little history to be found online regarding this place, but from what I could find out (thank you Google Translate!) was that the property is earmarked for a hotel, which explains the large demolition notice on the front gate.
