Residence (DK)

Got a tip by another danish explorer about this place. What a place; easily this summers best explore for me.

It’s was amazing to pieces together the history of what this building was throughout it’s existence, and the story of those who lived and worked there. I most admit I felt a little intrusive at times. There were a lot of personal artifacts (mainly photos and personal records), and I felt I had to respect that the people involved (wherever they may be today) might not like having someone like me go through their things.

The man who lived there in the last years most’ve been a pretty eccentric fella. A collector and war enthusiast with a passion for model planes. The house was filled with all kinds of things – strange things.

I was lucky enough to have time to do a bit of exploring during our last to see my family in Detroit. Woodward Avenue Presbyterian (St. Curvy to Detroiters) has been on my list for a very long time, and it did not disappoint!

We got to this university quite late in the day and thought it would be a breeze, it was but we had underestimated how much time we would need, this university is large.
