Theatre PP

Author oldskool - Last updated: 25.11.2012

This had to be one of the most public accesses I’ve ever done… Middle of the city centre on a busy street in front of 3 rammed bars at 1-30am.. Visited with The Invisible Man, Cloaked Up, Ghost Illogical and Ruben …
We slept the night in this fantastic art deco theatre complete with a crate of beer tea lights and loud music coming from the bars. Think we were awake until around 3am, the next thing I knew I heard Illogical saying its 7-30 guys get up. I don’t know how any of my shots turned out I couldn’t even see straight let alone work my camera I had the hangover from hell ….
Only the main entrance and foyer remains but its worth a visit just to see that. Tried to find history on this site but was unable to on with the pics…..

Ordinarily we do our ‘sightseeing’ during the week. Security seem a little less ‘on the ball’, perhaps they’re not expecting visitors in the same way they are at a weekend.

When we explored this abandoned hotel we realised after a few minutes that the hotel had power.

Again, limited information on this place. Last review on a trip website rated it as 4 stars in 2010. In 2016, it was decidedly less so!
