Centrale Thermique

Author sophos9 - Last updated: 16.01.2014

We had driven from Hospital Diablo to Chateau Lumiere on little sleep before arriving in Luxembourg to shoot the well known Centrale Thermique power station. Before finding the place, it was important to get pan du chocolate, man I would travel to Europe just for the pastry. We found a place to park and went to the site.

First floor, all doors are welded shut – sound of heavy machinery everywhere, the site is being dug out for material extraction. We had a list of some 40 locations so nearly left however we saw a possible way that involved some climbing, up into the first floor window. So knackered, we climbed and I’m glad we did!

A lot of this place has been demolished however there was a bunch left to shoot…
