Trans Alleghany Lunatica asylum

This location is pretty famous here in the states for being haunted. I’m pretty skeptical about that type of thing. I did pay for a photo tour of this place. There were about 12 of us and I rarely ran into anyone the entire time I was here.

The location was a little underwhelming to me, it was a decent location but they are doing renovations to it and it is available daily for tours. The main building was nice but not really scary at all and that’s where they were doing some of the renovations. The buildings in the back were a little better and more decayed. I’m going to try to make it to a few more buildings this year. It’s been hard to get out to do any Urbex since I have two kids now.

Urban Decay – Abandoned Irem Temple

Urban Decay – Abandoned Irem Temple(0)

This week my friend and I took a look around an abandoned Irem Temple. It snowed the night before, so we were glad to be doing in indoor exploration. BUT… when we arrived, there were foot prints leading into the entry point…two sets of footprints.

This place, just wow! Former home of millers, preserved beautifully – like the owners just left.
