With reference to a site visit/photo tour of the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment thread below

I have been approached by a few peeps asking if there will be one this year.I have been in touch with the site manager and it looks like it could be an October time visit again,we do need to come up with a list of dates that is doable for both the awre site and members on here.



One change this year with Daves permission,

Payments...payments are to be made to the talkurbex site via the donate/paypal button...once we have all payments either Dave or Myself or even Lucy will arrange a cheque for the full payment to be sent to the National Trust at orfordness...one cheque means no hassles..you will have a receipt of payment showing on your paypal accounts and if for any reason it gets cancelled it will be refunded

I will not chase payments this year as last year it got complicated with cheques going missing and late payments...the payment for the tour will be paid no less than 6 weeks before the tour as to guarantee securing the date for those wishing to visit...

So if your interested slam your name on the list below/edit list with a possible date that you would like in October and keep an eye on this thread...i will keep it updated with dates that the AWRE can accommodate us and costs..should be nearly the same as last year..any questions ask away..

Right then you "orrible" lot now your awake...the 1st date for a tour at the AWRE site will be on Friday 19th of October...so form an orderly queue and start placing your names onto the lists..

Sounds like a great opportunity! As I've only just signed up with the group recently and haven't posted any pictures I'll let the more aged members of the group have dibs on this but be quick because I'm not going to hold back forever

Having said that it does depend on the cost. What's a ballpark figure for "Same as last year"?
