    Canon 580 EX II flash

    Manfrotto 190 Pro tripod

My Technique and Tips:

What I look for (in some portraits) is a great expression, a representation of the models personality, emotion in an image. Whether it be through a great concept, a cool pose or a fierce stare, I want it to evoke emotion or make the viewer think.

I like to create dreamy floaty images, but sometimes I like sharp, punchy images with wicked lighting. I tend to vary on my mood.

I use my lighting kit and love to shoot with backlighting, softbox at the front for a great catchlight, especially with latex. I also love to use water or smoke bombs for added interest.

I have a great lighting bitch, I mean assistant, my partner, who is fantastic with saving me a lot of time not fiddling with settings letting the model go cold in these derelict buildings. He knows his stuff!

So, a little bit about me.

I’m a short, cheeky tomboy photographer. I love photography, it’s my life and passion. Sounds so cheesy right? But it’s true. Every explore I go on, I want to create a fantastic photo that I can add to my ever growing portfolio.

I love to chat to people about art and urbex, and adventures and really get to know people whether it be my clients or models. I have a fantastic partner Mike who I’ve shared many adventures with. Short history; studied 6 A-levels, got drunk and dropped out, studied animal management; finished to the end, didn’t persue as career, studied photography. Had the time of my life. Assisted a wedding photographer and worked in a wine shop. Left college, went on cruise ships for 8 months around the world. Started my own business, got a 9-5, left 9-5 after 6 months, then became a full time photographer.. Wouldn’t change it for the world!

Three things you probably didn’t know about me

1. Probably a bit self deprecating but for someone as talkative and seemingly confident, but I’m pretty damn insecure. My photography is like my feel good thing though, it helps my confidence, knowing that people appreciate my work, I need to learn to accept compliments about myself though. Deep huh?

2. I love music and lyrics. I mash up lyrics from songs and use them as my titles for my artworks.

3. I have a girl crush on my make up artist

So thats me, cheeky, likes to make a tit of one self and love shooting women nude in derps.
And I want to meet more of you lot.. so get messaging me!
