West Park by Rusty’s Photography
Popped down south again for another great explore at some of the UKs asylums . West Park being top on my list . I got there just as it was getting light and made my way over to the corridors . I got in and started to look for access to some wards , to my surprise one of the doors looked to have been snapped off in the corner and was just big enough to fit through . I was in and made my way up the stairs . Now comes the funny bit 
There i am snapping photos when the silence was broken with the sound of hammering . This hammering carried on for ages but i tried to ignore it as it wasn’t to close to where i was taking my pics . I stayed in this ward for about an hour and then made my way back to where i got in , only to find i had been sealed into the ward .Well and truly boarded up lol .Now i know what it feels like to be locked up in an asylum
Found a way out after a bit of looking round and will keep the whole experience as a great urbex memory

Good work here buddy the textures are spot on.
I didnt get the chance to visit before it started to be torn down but there a few good flickr photostreams to give myself a unguided tour.
This sets your benchmark so it will be interesting to see what happens after this…Its all going to kick off!!
