The Ace of Spades, the so called “Death Card” was part of a psychological warfare campaign that came from the troops in the Vietnam war. The “Death Card” was usually placed on the bodies of dead Vietnamese and signified a hidden message to the NVA, it symbolised the Ace of Spades – associated with death and also it left as a calling card to let the Viet Cong know who was there before them.
We at Talkurbex love the message behind death cards so much that we have introduced them into the urban exploration scene.
While the ace of spades has it superstitions, we are not superstitious – we used them as they look cool, the rest is just our calling card. We will be leaving these cards in the urbex locations that we explore – providing a link back to the crew with a bit of fun and competition in the future ![]()
So, for the first time, we are pleased to publish the TalkUrbex.com “Death Card” ![]()
Coming to a site near you soon ![]()
