So the new Nikon D300 is turning up tomorrow – as such I’m planning a urbex mission for the weekend. I’ve got one site which I may go to, have not been there before and it looks like an excellent shoot. I’m also thinking about doing a redux on an old mill that I shot some time ago.

Spooky old mill
The whole thing about the mill is that there are some supposed underground access points – the access point I’m hunting for is the engineers turbine inspection chamber – the turbine originally used to power the mill by water force and was maintained via underground access
Much of the mill is intact and suffered little urban decay due to its remote location – all of the old power units are still in place

The heart of the mill
So who knows where I’ll end up, where ever it is – expect some great urban exploration shots ![]()
